Doric View

Doric View is a purpose built bungalow in Penshaw.

The service provides residential short breaks for adults aged 18 to 65 with learning disabilities, physical disabilities or sensory or communication difficulties, following an assessment of need by a care manager.

Doric View is a modern building with six bedrooms - one with a double bed. All the rooms are single occupancy only; four of the bedrooms have over-head tracking; and both bathrooms have spa baths and tracking fitted.

The service provides people with a short break tailored to meet their needs and supports them to try out new activities, whilst also giving carers a break from their caring role.
